Reasons to Choose Our Office

  • Experience: Dr. Rebecca Aquije is residency trained in Vision Therapy & Rehabilitation and has experience working with developmental, behavioral, sensorimotor, and learning-related vision problems.
  • Board Certified: Our vision therapist is a "Certified Optometric Vision Therapist (COVT)" as designated by the Optometric Vision Development & Rehabilitation Association. Few, if any, vision therapists are board certified in New York City outside of our office. This is a testament to her extensive knowledge and experience in conducting vision therapy.
  • 1:1 Personalized Sessions: We conduct 45 minute one-on-one sessions tailored to each patient.
  • Sensory-Motor Integration: Vision therapy utilizes unique technologies and procedures to promote sensory-motor integration in order to achieve maximum results.
  • Holistic Approach: We treat the whole person rather than just the eyes. The key to excellent results is understanding how your eyes operate, how your brain processes vision, and practicing vision therapy at home on a regular basis in order to ingrain these skills for life.
