Dr. Rebecca Aquije, FAAO

Dr. Rebecca Aquije was born and raised in Queens, NY.  She received her doctorate degree from the SUNY College of Optometry and furthered her education through the Irwin B. Suchoff Residency Program in Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation at the SUNY College of Optometry.  During her residency, she was the recipient of the Dr. Martin H. Birnbaum Memorial Award for Outstanding Knowledge and Skill in Behavioral Optometry.  Dr. Aquije is strongly passionate about vision therapy and its positive impact on the lives of all patients struggling with binocular vision problems.

Nelli Khanukova, COVT

Nelli Khanukova has been with Midtown Vision Development Center since 1998. She obtained a certification as a vision therapist from the Optometric Vision Development and Rehabilitation Association in 2009. The certification process includes a rigorous evaluation of the therapist’s knowledge of developmental vision. Nelli has helped a number of underachieving children and adults to excel in life.
